NIMJN recently facilitated a two-day mobile and multimedia journalism workshop titled ‘MoJo and Digital Journalism Training’ for more than 40 journalists and reporters in Damak, Jhapa. It was organized by the Federation of Nepali Journalists’ Jhapa branch. NIMJN provided the necessary technical support and NIMJN’s Chief Editor and CEO, Rajneesh Bhandari, was the main trainer for the event. 

The two-day workshop trained journalists on multimedia storytelling and the use of mobile phones for reporting and also led discussions on the emerging trends of AI and technological development and what it means for the journalism sector.

The training was conducted on April 1 and April 2, 2024.
